Extracurricular Activity

Learning and development extend beyond the classroom.

National Junior Honor Society, Scouting, Dance, Prep Bowl, and Choir are areas in which students can participate and grow.

Sports* – Students in PK-5th grades may participate in the West Houston Christian Association and play on St. Jerome teams with their classmates.  5th-8th grade boys and girls may play on St. Jerome teams and will compete with other teams in the archdiocese.

St. Jerome has an active Boy Scout troop, who participate in many different activities throughout the school year, both on and off campus.

Prep Bowl is open to middle school students.  St. Jerome is proudly represented at various competitions around the Houston area.  Many awards are won by this group of outstanding students!

Math Club  is open to middle school students. These students help tutor their peers and will compete in academic mathematic competitions around the city.

National Junior Honor Society-Academically qualifying junior high students may participate.

Additional extra-curricular activities include the following:

  • *Super Star Dance (After school program) – Information in school office.
  • Chess Club (After school program) 3:30p-5:30p-Wednesdays. Click here for permission slip.
  • Extra Art classes (After school program) through Newspring Non-profit art program in Spring Branch. Students also attend art class within the scope of the school day.
  • *Martial Arts (After school program).
